This policy explains how the DoctorsInFrance Doctor application ("the App") handles information for the doctors who use it. The App is for licensed medical practitioners who receive and respond to patient appointment requests.

Who we are

The App is operated by DoctorsInFrance. For any privacy question, contact manager@doctorsinfrance.fr.

Information we collect

Account & identity: your name, email address, phone number, city/practice address, medical specialty and professional details you provide at sign-up.
Authentication: we send a one-time login code to your phone (via WhatsApp) or email. We do not store your code in readable form.
Location: with your permission, your device location is used to calculate distance to patient home-visit requests. You can decline this and still use the App.
Appointment & payment data: the offers you make, prices, appointment times, and payout records needed to pay you.
Device push token: to deliver notifications about new patient requests.

How we use it

To authenticate you and keep you signed in.
To route relevant patient requests to you and let you send offers.
To process appointments and pay you for completed consultations.
To send you operational notifications (new requests, payments).

Sharing

We share the minimum necessary with: the patient you are matched with (your name, offer and price); our payment processor (Stripe) to pay you; and messaging providers to deliver notifications. We do not sell your personal data.

Health information

Patient request details may contain health-related information. It is shown to you only to let you decide whether to accept a request, and must be handled in line with your professional confidentiality obligations.

Retention

We keep account and appointment records for as long as your account is active and as required for legal, tax and accounting purposes, then delete or anonymise them.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and you may withdraw location or notification permissions at any time in your device settings. To exercise these rights, email manager@doctorsinfrance.fr.

Account & data deletion

To delete your account and associated personal data, email manager@doctorsinfrance.fr from your registered address and we will process the request.

Changes

We may update this policy; material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
